SAMPLE CODE FOR S162C0G

I have attached the data sheet for the controller for the S162COG.  All the relevant info is in the data sheet.

Looking at the datasheet ...what is the increment mode ON/OFF for and what is the entire shift ON/OFF for as well... ?

I want to know if pin 6 (Enable), on the S162COG display can be pulled high on system start-up (as opposed to the more typically being pulled-low)?  Is there a way I could get a written confirmation from Displaytech that it would be ok to keep that enable high on start up.  Now after start-up, once our micro-controller comes up, then the micro will drive the enable to be low by default, and follow the rules in the specification.

Yes, it is ok to have the enable pulled high while the unit is starting up on the S162COG.
