Rotate landscape to
I will check with the engineering department for further clarification, in the meantime the IC spec can be downloaded via the first post in the 3.3" forum.
Please find the updated spec attached. The option for landscape mode has been deleted, it was originally thought that this was an available feature of the Magnachip IC but discovered in fact it is not. Sorry for any inconvience.

Could somebody give a bit more info on why the orientation mode matters? Although SDT033TFT is portrait mode (320 X480), it can be placed in landscape by turning 90 degree, and software can manage each pixel to display anything in the desired mode. I know I must have missed something. Could anyone give a link? Thanks.
If you wanted to use it in landscape mode and wrote software in portrait mode, it would have converted it for you when you send it an instruction to display in landscape mode. Because it is not, you have to write the code specifically for either portrait or landscape mode. If you plan to use it in landscape mode from the onset then it is fine to write code for that.
