RGB Mode?

Hello,

I'm using the atmel AT91SAM9263 processor with a Windows CE Board Support Package that has a built in LCD display Controller.  This controller utilizes the standard RGB protocol (dotckl, VSYNC, HSYNC,DB17-0, DataEn), not 68-Xbit or 80-Xbit.  I have an extra SPI port and can use this to configure the display if necessary.  Can I use the Standard RGB Protocol with this display, and if so, how do I get the display into this mode?  I do see that all the appropriate pins are pulled out on the display connector, but I want to make absolutely sure before I move forward with my design.
