I'm looking for more information concerning the touch panel installed at the SDT033TFT.
Does anybody know the exact type of the touch panel or can provide a datasheet?
Is the touch panel resistive or capacitive? And which touch screen controller could
be suitable to use with these touch panel?

It is a resistive touch panel, the spec is included in the TFT module, which can be downloaded here: http://www.displaytech-us.com/products/tftmodules.php
Any touch screen controller can be used, we suggest evaluating Microchip's mTouch™ AR1000 Resistive Touch Screen Controller. http://www.microchip.com/ar1000
