Hi all,

I'm using the SDT028TFT in a project. I and my team are developing on linux environment.
We have a beagleboard xM kit. The linux kernel is the newest.
However we're experiencing some difficulties, with driver for linux.
In kernel there is ILI9320.h and ILI9320.c codes source. The ILI9320 is the display controller of SDT028TFT.
I have compiled this files in Kernel linux, but we've had not sucess.

our hardware and software are:

BeagleBoard xM (while the target hardware isn't finished)
omap3530 processor
Ubuntu linux(kernel 2.6.37)

Is there some driver for it?

Hi Adriano_martin,

We will be using the Beagleboard for our 7" display.  I may have more info for you then. However, in the mean time, you can send us the driver file that you are using for us to look at.  Most of them, you do need to develop your own driver by modifying some existing one for custom hardware in Linux.

Thanks.

Hi techsupport,

it's the problem, I'm using a native driver of linux kernel and it isn't running correctly, but I can send it for you. Do I Send for email adress? Please, take a adress email.
Would be  useful you send me the driver that you using for display 7". Is it possible?

Do you sell this adapter for display 7" ? I have interest in the schematics too.
So, I would understand easily the display operation, with the schematics and driver file.

Thanks.

Hi Adriano,

You can attach the files here and I can get it.  That way, others can take a look too.  As for schematics, I will post it once I got more done.  I am not using the xM but a standard version of the beagle brd.  Would that be a problem for you ?

Thanks
